If your school is not participating, and you want to compete in this Olympiad, you can do it at SJSU, an open site for BAMO. You must contact Tatiana Shubin (shubin@math.sjsu.edu, or (408) 924-5146) no later than February 23.
Important Dates:
Preparation sessions for BAMO:
1. Tuesday, February 14, 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Berkeley University, Evans Hall, Room 81 The instructors for the practice session will be Ted Alper (for beginners) and Paul Zeitz (for advanced students)
2. Tuesday, February 21, 6:00 – 8:00 PM Berkeley University, Evans Hall, Room 81 SJSU, MacQuarrie Hall, Room 234. Ioana Dumitriu will be the instructor for this general session
3. Wednesday, February 22, 7:00 – 8:45 PM. SJSU, MacQuarrie Hall, Room 425 The instructor will be Paul Zeitz.
Everyone interested in BAMO is encouraged to come. You do not need to be a member of a math circle.
